SailMate is designed to streamline the operations of sailing clubs and schools by simplifying lesson management, membership tracking, and event planning. With a focus on user experience, it offers an intuitive platform for both administrators and sailing instructors to manage their programs with ease.

The mockup

Upon first load, the main dashboard presents a clean, modern interface with a soft blue and white color scheme. The top navigation bar features prominent icons for easy access, while a summary panel on the left shows upcoming lessons and important announcements. In the center, the calendar view displays scheduled lessons, color-coded by instructor, enabling quick visual reference.

The user is greeted with an overview of key performance metrics on the right side, showcasing member growth, upcoming events, and recent feedback scores. A subtle wave pattern in the background enhances the nautical feel, while interactive elements respond gracefully, creating an engaging user experience.

Tech stack

The app will be built using Next.js for its user-friendly server-side rendering and React components, complemented by a Firebase backend for real-time database management and authentication, ensuring a seamless and scalable solution.
